With almost 5 decades in the Food & Nutrition industries as a serial entrepreneur, venture investor, private equity investor and private and public company board member, James will share his vision of where the industry is heading and how to capitalize on potential in the years ahead.
Jason will share stories of defining brand failures and brand successes, and what we can learn from each of them. We’ll have a deeply interactive discussion about what each of us, as CEOs, can do differently in evolving our brand.

His decision to be his own boss came early at the Smith School, where he earned a marketing degree. Later on, he sold insurance in New Jersey while looking for his first opportunity. He sold the business in 2005 for 4x revenue and moved quickly to his next project World Gourmet Marketing, driving revenue from $0 to $100 million in five years. In 2013, Jason partnered with the founders of SkinnyPop and successfully went public in 2015 for 1.4 billion in shareholder value.
More recent multimillion-dollar successes have included Rickland Orchards yogurt, Dippin’ Chips party snacks, and Mrs. Thinsters cookies.
